Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 14, 2026 · Effective date: July 14, 2026

1. Introduction

PMOS Pal (“PMOS Pal,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a nutrition and lifestyle-education application that helps users log foods, estimate calories and nutrients, and understand PCOS/PMOS-friendly eating patterns. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. It applies to our mobile applications, our website at easepmos.com, and related services (collectively, the “Service”).

By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Health context, not a medical record. The nutrition and wellness information you enter is used to power educational features. PMOS Pal is not a medical device and does not create a clinical health record.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Account information: name or nickname, email address, and password credentials when you register.
  • Profile & preferences: optional details such as age range, dietary goals, food preferences, and PCOS/PMOS-related interests you choose to share.
  • Food & nutrition logs: foods you search, portion sizes, meals, calorie and nutrient entries, and Food Score history.
  • Photos you submit: images of meals you choose to capture or upload for food recognition.
  • Support communications: messages, feedback, and correspondence you send us.

Information collected automatically

  • Device & usage data: device model, operating system, app version, language, and how you interact with features.
  • Diagnostics: crash logs and performance data to keep the Service reliable.
  • Identifiers & cookies: app or advertising identifiers and, on our website, essential and analytics cookies (see Section 7 for choices).

3. How we use your information

  • Provide core features — food logging, calorie and nutrient estimation, and the A/B/C/F Food Score.
  • Generate educational insights and personalized nutrition suggestions.
  • Maintain your account, sync your history, and remember your preferences.
  • Improve, debug, and secure the Service, including analytics and product research.
  • Respond to support requests and communicate service updates.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our User Agreement.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your food logs or meal photos to make medical diagnoses or clinical determinations.

4. AI & food recognition

PMOS Pal may use artificial intelligence to interpret food images, normalize food descriptions, estimate food composition, and generate readable nutrition insights. When you submit a photo or description, the relevant data may be processed by our AI systems or trusted AI service providers under contract to return an estimate.

  • AI outputs are estimates and may be inaccurate for unclear images, mixed dishes, hidden ingredients, or unknown recipes.
  • You can adjust portion sizes and selected food items to refine results.
  • Meal photos are used to provide the recognition result and improve accuracy; we do not use them to identify you.

5. How we share information

We share information only in these limited circumstances:

  • Service providers: vendors who host our infrastructure, provide AI processing, analytics, or customer support, bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
  • Legal & safety: when required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, the public, or PMOS Pal.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with continued protection under this Policy.
  • With your consent: when you direct us to share information.

6. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may delete individual logs at any time. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, security, or legitimate business purposes.

7. Your rights & choices

  • Access & correction: view and update your profile and logs in the app.
  • Deletion: delete entries or request account deletion by contacting us.
  • Portability: request a copy of your data where applicable law provides this right.
  • Permissions: control camera, photo, and notification access in your device settings.
  • Cookies: manage non-essential website cookies through our banner or your browser settings.
  • Marketing: opt out of promotional emails using the unsubscribe link.

Depending on where you live (for example, the EEA/UK under GDPR or California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have additional rights, including the right to object to or restrict certain processing and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any right, contact us at support@easepmos.com.

8. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards — including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure infrastructure — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. International data transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect your information when it is transferred internationally.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version with a new “Last updated” date and, for material changes, provide additional notice within the app or by email.
